My Dad, Doug Midgley, and his songwriting buddy, Bob Peek, wrote this song because they both had a Brownie for a daughter. Bob's daughter, Juliana, and I were both Brownies in Troop 1779.
We made so many fun memories together in that young sisterhood. Besides the usual arts and crafts, cookie sales, and troop meetings, we raised money to help nourish Somalia, survived camping in the worst weather EVER, and even got to professionally record and perform this original song.
When I happened across this picture AND the clip of us singing our song in the same week, I knew I had to do something...
